Lemon Essential Oil
Lemon Essential oil is one of the most commonly used oils in aromatherapy. Lemon essential oil is sourced from the peel of the citrus limon plant and is used for a number of reasons ranging from anxiety to mood to weight and more. Please note that research on the health benefits of aromatherapy is limited and lemon oil is no different. There is some evidence of its benefits which make it a popular choice for many people seeking healthy, natural alternatives. It’s popular in cleaning recipes, diffusers, and summery perfumes. Lemons are harvested while they are still green to yield a higher quality oil. It takes over 3,000 lemons to produce 1 kilo (2.2 lbs) of expressed oil. Blends well with fennel, geranium, juniper, cistus, or benzoin.
