Palo Santo (Holy Wood) Essential Oil
Palo Santo strength of Aroma is a strong aromatic Scent. Palo Santo Essential Oil has a fresh, intense woody aroma with a slight hint of citrus. Common uses of Palo Santo Essential Oil are known as a spiritual oil called Holy Wood. Palo Santo Essential oil is traditionally used for relieving common colds, flu symptoms, stress, asthma, anxiety and inflammation. This oil is great for aromatherapy and it's also used during massage therapies to assist in healing for physical pain.
The tree of Palo Santo is originally from the dry tropical forests on the coast of the South Pacific, Ecuador being the main country where this tree is found. The Palo Santo Oil is only concentrated and deposited in the interior of the tree trunk. It can take up to 10 years to produce the oil and to get concentrated in their trunk. Only tree branches that fall naturally from the ground are used to make this oil. The average life of the tree of Palo Santo is between 80 and 90 years. The natives in Ecuador have used it mainly to protect themselves from insects (mosquito) and also in ancestral rituals where shamans use this oil to clear bad energy from the bodies. They also used it as essential oil and to perfume their homes.

Resin-derived oils like frankincense and myrrh, citrus oils, and florals like lavender and helichrysum.
This oil can cause skin sensitization. Never use essential oils undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children.
Before using topically, perform a small patch test on your inner forearm or back by applying a small quantity of diluted essential oil and apply a bandage. Wash the area if you experience any irritation. If no irritation occurs after 48 hours it is safe to use on your skin.
